What was a dilapidated ex local authority rental has been turned into a private, contemporary living & entertaining home. After a complete strip out the property was taken back to the four perimeter walls. Structural alterations, including the removal of two load bearings walls meant the provision of new steel columns and beams were required to create an open plan living/kitchen area and a larger second bedroom. New electrics throughout were necessary, including recessed lighting. A new domestic hot and cold water system was implemented for the new boiler. A subfloor was fitted with an engineered wooden flooring laid on top. A suspended soundproof ceiling using tecsound 100 and sound block plasterboard was installed in order to combat sound coming in/going out of the property. A new ensuite master bathroom was installed. The creation of a new Master Bedroom and guest bedroom, which included bespoke fitted wardrobes. A separate guest shower room was also installed.
